From the Director's Desk Empower Yourself
I’m a true believer in equality and one way is by connecting community members to services and resources so they have a greater awareness and understanding of what is available to them and their business(es). My hope is that they take this knowledge to help them become leaders in their own lives, their families and/or community.
IWBC has launched a new FB page Mujer a Mujer Unidas (Women to Women United). A program that promotes educational, professional, and entrepreneurial training in Spanish to Empower Latina business owners, including aspiring entrepreneurs in Idaho. This FB page will be bilingual.
In addition to the Mujer a Mujer Unidas FB page, we offer the following bilingual tool and resources for your business: Crowdfunding campaign to raise funding online, Small Business Resilience Training to be better prepared for a crisis and Connect the Dots Mentorship Academy, which provided one-to-one mentoring relationships that connect mentees with mentors across Idaho to learn how to become a better business owner.
Community engagement is what I love to do. It’s about respecting, listening and building strong relationship with our IWBC clients. I’m passionate about motivating women in business to be the best version of themselves by supporting their business goals, no matter how big or small they may seem. I’m so honored to work in a place such as the Idaho Women’s Business Center where I’m able to bridge my two passions – small business development and community outreach and engagement.

The Startup Magazine 5 Benefits of Outsourcing Your Content Development
I’ve been in the content marketing game for 14 years, and for most of those, my focus was providing content services for small businesses. But over the past few years, I’ve started working with bigger brands. This surprised me initially. After all, corporations have their own marketing teams—why would they outsource content? ow many times have you heard the word strategy in your career? More than you can count, I'm guessing. Strategy, "they" say, is what you need to get from Point A to Point B. But one of the most common complaints we hear from executives in big and small companies is that their strategic plans break down somewhere in the execution. According to a survey, an overwhelming 74 percent of executives don't have faith that their company's transformative strategies will succeed.
